Does this film protect furniture from fading?

Since this film eliminates virtually all of the UV rays, it will indeed prolong the time it takes things to fade. Only an opaque light blocking film will almost totally stop fade. There are some pretty lightly tinted solar films that help reduce heat, so maybe one of those could be an option as well.
