Can this film be contoured and stretch to fit unusual shapes through the use of a heat gun? Can the process of heating damage the film and/or the darkening feature?

This film is designed for flat glass as it is a solar film and not a shrinkable wrap material. It may contour a bit on a curved glass, but it all depends on how extreme of a shape you are trying to cover.
