What do you do if you are installing on a glass surface that is taller than 5 feet and is this commonly done? Will the end of the film be visible?

The sample picture is a room with 8 foot tall glass. the dual gradient films are designed to be placed in the center of the glass for optimal privacy. There would be a top and bottom edge/line where the clear film ends.
