What is the process of taking the film off later? Is it difficult/renter friendly?

All of our films are fully removable at any time. If you cut a large piece of film into narrow vertical strips it can make it easier to pull the film down and off the glass. Any remaining glue can easily be removed with soapy water and a razor blade or scrub pad.
