Could these be used outdoors mounted to acrylic? If not, can you recommend a different iridescent type film that could?

These have been used, both outside, as well as on acrylic, and their lifespan would be dependent on multiple factors like climate and angle to the sun. It would not be a warrantable use for this film, but might hold up well for you.
