Will this also repel hard water stains if I put it in the inside of my shower?

The coating on the surface of the film may help repel the water, but more importantly the water will hit the film and not the glass. If it gets build up over time, it can be removed back down to the clear, stain-free glass again. NOTE: The film would need to be installed on the flat surface and nothing textured or rough.
