Is this okay to use in a shower window?

Yes, this film can be used in a shower window. This particular film is pretty opaque and does not let very much light through. We also recommend using a thin bead of clear silicone caulk around the edges once it has dried for a while. This will help ensure that dirt and water do not get under the edges over an extended time.
