Can you see out of it? While it provides privacy looking in?

The Whiteout film is very opaque. You are not able to see in or out when looking through it. It does let a small amount of light pass through though (7% per the spec sheet). Imagine a very thick piece of paper like cardstock on the glass if that helps.
