Does the film work on painted wood surface?

This film would not do well on a painted wood surface. It is thin with an adhesive designed for glass. It would not have enough grab to stick very well. Also, with it being a mirror finish, keep in mind it will magnify any imperfection it goes over. A smooth, dust-free glass, acrylic or metal surface is best.
