Why is bamboo so much cheaper than cut glass bamboo? Is there a quality difference with adhesive vs static cling?

The cut glass bamboo film SX-1461 has an extra process of adding the adhesive to the back of the film instead of just having a static cling surface. Most of the patterns that offer both static and adhesive have the same price difference.
