Can I apply this to a wall like wallpaper?

We do know that some clients have used this on non-glass surfaces like walls and doors. Making sure the surface is clean, smooth, dust free and primed correctly is key to making it stick well. Since it is designed for a wet install on glass, we cannot warranty the film if used for other purposes. Consider ordering some samples to determine if this film is right for your project. Note that this would not be warrantied if applied to anything other than glass.
