Would this film be recommended for a South Facing Exterior Wrought Iron Gate that currently has clear glass?

It would depend on what you are trying to achieve. If it is for privacy, you could pretty much go with any Decorative film we offer. All you need to stay away from is the solid black opaque films as they would attract heat into the glass.
