Is this product removable or is it a permanent installation?

This particular film has a dry apply adhesive for walls. It is removable when you do not want it any more. As for how well it will or won't remove will depend on the quality of the wall and paint that it is applied on top of. It is designed to remove cleanly, but sometimes a poor wall prep will cause paint to stick to the back of the film. You may want to test a sample piece to see how well it does or doesn't stick to the intended surface.
